Practical solutions
Our solutions are developed in response to the specific requirements of our customers. We combine standard products with our own development and integration expertise to create solutions that integrate seamlessly into existing system landscapes and business processes.
The following examples show a selection of successfully implemented projects.
Projects
From scanning to digital personnel files
As part of an extensive DMS project, we built a central digital personnel file solution for a large company. The solution was continuously expanded over several project phases and managed around 250,000 digital personnel files in the final expansion stage.
The entire process was considered: from the digitization and transfer of existing documents to the assignment to the respective employees to the structured and secure storage within the document management system.
This resulted in a centrally available digital information base for daily work from extensive paper stocks.
SAP and document management intelligently connected with each other
We implemented SAP ArchiveLink for a customer, thereby connecting the SAP system with the existing document management and archive system.
The solution has also been expanded to include intelligent metadata comparison. Information from the SAP invoice receipt book is compared with the metadata of the archived document and synchronized accordingly.
This means that the document and SAP business process are reliably connected and the relevant information is available for both research and downstream processes.
SAP as the leading system – the DMS follows automatically
In another project, we developed a permanent synchronization interface between SAP and the document management system.
Project information from SAP is automatically evaluated and used to create and update the corresponding structures within the DMS.
If the status of a project changes in SAP, this change is also taken into account in document management. For example, active and completed projects can be automatically assigned to different areas and the corresponding DMS structures can be moved.
This means that SAP and document management remain permanently synchronized without having to manually maintain project structures in multiple systems.
From the document directly into the digital signature process
For a customer, we integrated the MOXIS electronic signature solution directly into the eDOCS InfoCenter. This allows users to start the signature process for a document directly from their usual document management environment. The document is handed over to MOXIS, goes through the intended electronic signature process and can then be further processed within the existing document-based business process.
This creates a consistent digital process for the user without having to switch between different applications and manual work steps.
This integration shows our approach particularly well:
We do not look at document management in isolation, but rather combine documents, specialist applications and processes to form a consistent solution.
Interconnecting standard software solutions
Many of our projects are based on established standard products. However, the decisive added value often arises from intelligently combining them.
Our many years of experience with document management, SAP, interfaces, workflow, digitalization and software development enable us to develop an overall solution tailored to the respective customer from individual components.
Our goal is: As much standard as possible – as much individual integration as necessary.
